The weak minded will always fall back on "humans contribute to CO2 therfore they increase it" bullshit. There is no amount of debunking of the narrative that will change their mind because thier mind is not a factor, their "opinions" are whatever the boob tube tells them "science says". It is far more entertaining to talk them into a corner.

For example have them agree on run away greenhouse effect. More CO2 is released as temperature goes up because permafrost melts, more forest fires, etc. Have them agree that this means there us a tipping point after from which there is no possibility of return.

Then point out that before the ice age the CO2 was at 4kppm and the planet was a lot hotter, and from that high we were plunged into an ice age. Watch them squirm. Watch them say it was other forces that caused that and then say "but you said co2 drives climate".

You can see the stress levels skyrocket as they try to come up with excuses the tv didn't prepare them with.
