Shame he didnt have some sort of device that shot projectiles at a high rate of speed, directed through a cylindrical tube of sorts.

Hah! Sounds like you've been playing with muzzled AI a little too much.

The mysterious reeeeeeeeeeee inducing device banned because one guy on a island not attached to Australia shot some people so they all lost the right to defend themselves against their tyrannical government?

That device?

Again like covid vaxecutions I'm #BAFFLED as to what it could possibly be.

No, kangaroos are good in water.

Wow kangaroos are freaking evil

[ - ] WanderingToast 3 points 7 monthsOct 16, 2023 09:57:46 ago (+3/-0)

They are also exceptionally good at drowning you - taking on a roo in water is a very dangerous thing to do

I skipped over this link earlier because I thought I had seen the video before. Turns out there's a bunch of videos of kangaroos trying to drown dogs.

The dude gives the roo a big right hand to the chin in the one I was thinking of.

Rope would solve this simply. I hate those giant land rats.

Too bad he couldn't have a gun to blow the kangaroos brains out. My dog got attacked by racoons and we lit up 12 of those little bastards

Yeah .. working for a mining company on McArthur River Station in Australia's Northern Territory, when we established camp after the wet season the billabongs were full of water, as the dry season wore on and the water level dropped a true abundance of dead dingoes - Australian wild dogs - appeared, all victims of kangaroo drownings.

Billabong = River in kangajewspeak.

[ - ] MartinTimothy 0 points 7 monthsOct 16, 2023 23:33:22 ago (+0/-0)

Billabong = River..

Not quite .. a "billabong" is a waterhole, either part of an old creek bed or an isolated natural lagoon in an otherwise dry environment, b'bongs don't have flowing water.

My bad I'm not fluent in kangajew.

Why would anyone venture in to the Australian wild without at least a sidearm? That seems suicidal.

[ - ] Clubberlang 3 points 7 monthsOct 16, 2023 20:00:55 ago (+3/-0)

without at least a sidearm?

The Australian government used this excuse to take away their right to defend themselves.

Tasmania isn't connected to mainland Australia.

So it's the equivalent of all of the US loosing their right to bear arms over a Hawaiian going on a shooting spree.

[ - ] RepublicanNerd -4 points 7 monthsOct 16, 2023 18:24:46 ago (+0/-4)

Because not everyone is paranoid and needs to shoot everything. Experienced Australian bushmen know how to handle themselves..

what a fucking loser filming that shit. he said that his dogs had been quiet for a few mins which is why he went looking for them, then when he found his dog being drowned he tried to make loud sounds by the shore hoping to spook it. then, after getting his phone set on record, he finally goes in.. slowly. what a fuckhead. i would've rushed straight in and smashed it if it hadn't let go within the 3 secs it took me to charge it.
