The western world is not going to go full tilt to protect/restablish Israel.

You have to remember that the place is absolutely tiny.

If the situation goes full tilt then there will be a mass evacuation with those staying getting wiped out by the sheer force of numbers and jihad ferver.

The west is not going to invade what will then be Palestine to establish the Jewish state, as many will hold the sentiment that Israel kinda fucked the situation up themselves, not to mention there will be lots and lots of people who will actively vote against such action.

Despite a strong media effort - the political will to go full tilt to re-establish Israel just won't be there. Largely due to a combination of Israel having never lifted a finger to help any western military endeavour and it's absolutely trash human rights record.
