As one of the people that doesn't comment much and posts fuck all, I enjoy reading here. Genuinely. a) being hue-man (colored man) implies within the spectrum of light aka in-between white (pure light) and black (absence of light).

b) origin of light going through each one within sets the potential for enlightenment (discernment) or darkness (ignorance) through ones free will of choice.

c) choosing to ignore perceivable origin for suggested outcomes, tempts one to focus on that which isn't (fiction); while ignoring that which is (reality)...focus implies narrowing of ones perspective aka "tunnel-vision".

Others suggest "light at the end of the tunnel" to tempt one to look into darkness aka into self imposed ignorance of incoming light. Ones consent to anything suggested by others tempts one to focus on the suggested (information), while closing oneself off from perceivable (inspiration).

Artist take a few materials and accomplish the same effect. It can be as simple as organizing and simplifying your environment, removing from view clutter and bringing that with positive connotations into view.

Maybe write down some goals, near and longer term to see progress you'd want. Pick areas you want to improve and some achievable actions in those areas.
