When my son was about 13-14, I asked him if he had only two choices, would he rather be gay or black. He said “black” (the thought of being gay is so repulsive to a teenager) I said, “wrong”. You can always stop being gay but black is forever. I know, once a Peter puffer always a Peter puffer. I was trying to make a point against being black.
