The reason I got a google voice over a decade ago was if i lost mt phone, left it home, or it was dead. Now I can't login unless I have an old device. Lose your devices in a fire or robbery? Lose your google account forever.

Already use a version of this for Amazon and GoDaddy accounts...real pain is for the luddites who shun mobile devices.
