Ok Gamers - What's The Best 100k+ Game Console Out There That I Can Buy During Prime Day?

submitted by Scyber to gaming 7 monthsOct 11, 2023 19:20:52 ago (+3/-3)     (www.amazon.com)

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=kinhank+super+console+x2+pro&crid=390AW77R2JLF5&sprefix=kinhan%2Caps%2C192&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_4_6

I need an expert gamer.
My budget is around $200 - I really like Sega & SNES games & if I can get PS1 & N64 games included like Tony Hawk 1&2 + Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate, then I'm good.
I've watched a few unboxing & playthrough vids on jewtube but still don't know which one to get.

EDIT: JESUS FUCKING CHRIST - I JUST WANT A SIMPLE GAMING SYSTEM WITH 100K GAMES ON IT THAT PLUGS INTO MY TV.
THAT'S IT!
NOTHING MORE!

WHY ARE YOU RETARDS MAKING IT HARDER THAN WHAT I ASKED?!

Besides the other's suggestions, if you want the simple p+p console thingy, pick the one you didn't get as a kid. The SNES has more classics, though the Genesis certainly has it's gems. So it's really up to you. I personally liked the N64's classics when I was growing up.

Edit: and I just realized this is a 4-day old thread resurrected to the front page. Been a lot of that happening lately. Even saw one over a year old recently.

Buy, or build your own PC.

You can run almost anything you want with emulators, and you will not be limited by corporate bullshit.

I don't have time for that. I'm a casual gamer & hate desktops.
I don't need a $5k computer.
I want something simple with tons of games to play on my TV.

Buy a fucking alien ware for $2000 then. Then go on steam and pay for a bunch of free emulators. Thats what you deserve.

You can build your own PC from new, or pre-owned parts for 1/3-1/2 the cost of a "5k computer"... and have access to almost any game. You can even use the same controllers.

There are even complete "How To Build Your Own PC" on Youtube.com. Everything you need is even listed.

Shit I'd sell you my rasperri pi with most games for $200. It runs n64 and psx like shit though, rest run well.

buy a mini pc

bought a beelink mini pc for my nephew and the thing didnt even lasted a month. you gotta be careful with these

[ - ] Kozel 1 point 7 monthsOct 16, 2023 18:08:30 ago (+1/-0)

I have two from minisforum. One is my router and homelab, I put xcp-ng and opnsense on it. On the other I am writing this on Artix linux and I have played games on it for half a year without any problem.

I deployed some beelink mini pcs at a location some months ago. They are still going strong.

I did buy a long time ago some mini pc without active cooling (the case was a heatsink). That lasted half a year running pfsense and broke.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BG2SHPBS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

this is the one that i bough, good thing that amazon refunded my purchase without even asking. support is pretty meh too.

yeah maybe i should have gone with minisforum instead. who knows? i would say that the computer was rather snappy for what it had to offer but again, it didnt last long. good thing that we replaced this one with an all in one which is not that great but at least the kid can play roblox on it 😂

I hate all in ones. They are annoying to service. Would never buy one for myself.

I'm on the free trial and took the chance to get a meat slicer.

Not a game system. but cooler than a game system.

Just download a free emulator. Why pay when you can just download all sega, snes, n64 and ps1 games for free?

[ - ] Scyber [op] 0 points 7 monthsOct 11, 2023 19:49:52 ago (+0/-0)

I don't even know where to start.

WHY ARE YOU RETARDS MAKING IT HARDER THAN WHAT I ASKED?!

Some people want you to do better than just to plug and play.

if you don't like that answer heres another one

They are all gatekeepers who don't want noobs playing in their spaces. fucking faggots.

Go on ebay and buy an old Cray supercomputer. You will need about 20K worth of hardware to get it to emulate SNES. Then buy a projection...

Haha...Looks like no one here can actually answer a question. I would recommend going to a gaming forum online and asking this question. Or go with the reviews. Nice part about Amazon is you can return it if it sucks.

WE'RE the retards for telling you to simply install an emulator focussed linux distro on a cheap device such as raspberry pi or a used laptop? It's that simple. You click a few confirmation buttons and the installer dies everything for you. YOU'RE the one who is retarded for spending money on crappy single use hardware with inflated prices just because they downloaded a torrent and put the files on an ssd.

I bought a modded mini super nintendo with all that on it except tony hawks. I think the mini ps one has it.

Newegg is a good source of parts & operating software to build a PC (at least still was when last utilized).

Built multiple PCs; but ceased, owing to the rapidity of the incoming next gen situation.

Now, have two 2TB XBox One S consoles, Gears of War edition, with the rust & blood & bite & claw marks on the boxes & controllers. They’re obsolescent.

If XBox One version of Bethesda’s Starfield not released within a year; i’ll most likely build another PC: Fuck their polygorillion color bullshit scam.

RIP Voodoo Grafix & Maxtor!

Fuck Seagate & NVidia!

Never Forgive!

Never Forget!

Lost our train of thought.

CONSOOOOOOOM

Just get an old laptop or even a used Raspberry Pi and put Batocera on it, then DL some torrents at the library

[ - ] Scyber [op] 0 points 7 monthsOct 11, 2023 21:07:27 ago (+0/-0)

I have no idea what a PI does or what the other thing is.

If you actually read my other responses, you'd realize that I'm just a simple casual gamer who wants a console with 100k games that plugs into my TV because I don't have time for any of your hardcore gamer faggot bullshit.

[ - ] KyleIsThisTall 0 points 7 monthsOct 12, 2023 05:19:06 ago (+0/-0)

Then fucking learn how to do it instead of throwing money at chinks who merely installed batocera on a small single board computer and downloaded some torrents.

There us this thing called a search engine, you faggot
