Then the cow says "My son is dressing up as barbie."
The friend responds "Nice!".
The cow adds "Platinum Barbie!", whatever the fuck that is, followed by
"He doesn't want to do it but I'm forcing him to."
A few years from now, when you hear about a son shotgun-murdering his mom and her girlfriend in their sleep, you'll be able to put on your 'not-shocked' face and say, "Yep. Saw that coming."

That's really the thing, you can't change the NPC mind. It'll only cause you stress and irritation trying. Unless you can grab them off the street, spend countless hours, days, weeks, deprogramming them, it's a futile effort.
This happens on both "sides", NPCs exist everywhere. Just more obvious from the left currently

Shame works. It may not have changed the groomers mind then, but I believe the lack of shaming has led to where were at.
