My guess is someone targeting the site with something illegal. Accidentally linking to something illegal that a user linked to is far less illegal than storing the file yourself.
I was wondering about your ban here. Did he banned all package you+alts (you was accused to use your alts) or he just nuked your main account and your alts were just an excuse to get rid of you.
When you were banned. My first thought was... This is revenge ban and has nothing to do with votes.
