This is fuckign fake news and gay. It is a common and very important training tactic with large dogs to use your knee into their chest when they jump up on you.

In addition, German Shepherds get "nippy" when they are bored and have too much energy. Take the dog out for a run or at least play fetch for an hour. Anything to give it a job and or burn energy.
