It is a designated passing lane. 70/75 is not that fast. In Texas there are highways with an 85mph speed limit.

It never happens like that. Eventually everyone needs to pass someone. I drive the speed limit and I still will need to pass someone, I use cruise control and someone will be going slower, or get into another lane to exit or merge onto another highway. That's the most dangerous time for me because people speeding, no matter how clear it is behind me, will somehow appear in my rearview mirror right after I start going around a slower vehicle. Then they ride my bumper and prevent me from getting back into the slow lane by almost hitting me and then passing me on the right and cutting off me and the person I was passing. It's hard to get back into the right lane with a lot of these people who speed. They appear out of nowhere because they are speeding, ride your bumper, then prevent you getting back into the right lane by cutting off the person you are passing and swerving into the right lane and almost hit you at the same time and pass you on the right all while crying to themselves because they couldn't wait 10 seconds.

There are rules for passing and they (speeders) ignore all of them. You must signal first, then look if it's safe, then pass, after passing then signal again, check if it's safe then get into the right lane and turn of the signal. These faggot fucks don't allow you to do that. They are the problem.

You don’t need to rush to get out of their way, just make reasonable progress while passing and get out of the way of the dude who’s trying to pass you, it’s just good driver’s etiquette.
