I didn’t send any gear to the sphere, but met the audio guys at bar near work. I wasn’t talkin shit on the speaker design, but mentioned they’re “big honkin speakers!” One guy pipes up, “yeah, I designed em!” Ha. It’s an implementation of beam-steering, where each individual speaker driver is processed differently- delay mostly, not sure on the secret sauce. 167k speaker drivers in 1,600 cabinets. Actually asked an industry veteran/ heavyweight designer about it today ha. He said the video wall is just unreal, and sighed and said the processing time to do the steering “magic” is 100ms- the time it takes sound to travel ~100ft. Unusable for live sound. No info on how U2 actually pulled off a live show, perhaps mimed? Dunno. Quite an expensive venue that doesn’t have a real PA..

Since they mention Sting with Bono, he is pretty much the same mongrel, in Italy when police investigated into illegal labour, found he had illegal migrants on his "luxury" farming estate.

At the end of his video he mentioned something about oct 4th I saw another video saying that everyones cellphone emergency will go off at 2:20 ET for half an hour. So i guess ill see if something wierd happens tomorrow.
