I was on the phone with customer service earlier today. I guess the darkie on the other side must have been working remotely, because I heard a chirp that came from the environment she was in.

I've always noticed this chirp and thought it sounded like shoes sqeaking on the floor... similar to a noise you might hear on a basketball court. I wonder if this is why they're desensitized to it sometimes. Depending on the acoustics, the chirp and shoes squeaking do sound similar in some instances.
