Modern science is a travesty of idiocy and greed. Nobody bothers isolating variables anymore it seems. Almost all papers are terrible, and just plain wrong. Or worse, they are done in a way that they cannot be wrong.
I agree with that. The vast majority of results are never reproduced, and the participants lie constantly and take bribes.
Then they'll average all such unreliable results into a (super-reliable) meta-study. Did you know that that was the only way they ever proved a negative effect of second hand smoke? Say what you want about cigarette smoking, but it's really hard to prove that second hand smoke does anything unless you like hotbox the car with your kids in it. Exposure as an adult at, like, restaurants is lower risk than breathing the air in most big cities.
Show me a population where lack of vaccination has resulted in reduced autism. What I'm saying is all this information is useless unless you can do something about it. If that population is the Amish, well, most people still aren't going to want to do anything about it -- but at least you know!
There are an amazing number of things correlated with autism. It seems like basically do normal, natural stuff, and it doesn't happen as much. You start introducing artificial stuff and all the sudden find everything is correlated with autism.
I love sharing this anecdote because its all the proof we need that sweeteners mess with our bodies.
Over a few years, I had a painful bible cyst growing on my wrist. It was beginning to become debilitating. I read a book claiming artificial sweeteners could affect Insulin in some people. Insulin is a growth hormone.
I cut out ALL artificial sweeteners and that painful cyst was completely gone in two months.
That’s a true fact you can take to the knowledge bank.
