In 1976, I was 10 years old, I lived in Vicksburg Mississippi. A buddy and I found two king sized box spring mattresses dumped in a field. It took us 3 days to haul them to the Mississippi River. Stacked them, threw them in, they floated. We set sail at dawn on a Saturday morning. Made it across to Louisiana, explored the land. We were honored guests at a picnic with strangers. Then we got nabbed by the river pigs on the return journey. We didn’t know cops had boats. We blamed the school for making us read Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Had the Minnow sunk, the plan was to swim. We could swim all day and have a leisurely conversation about the Six Millon Dollar Man fighting Sasquatch while doing it. Because we were white. I never really understood why blacks have such a problem with swimming.

We miscalculated the drift. Had we been allowed to continue, we would have pulled up about 7 miles from home. In the 70’s, for a kid, with a few hours of daylight left, that’s no problem. We were a mostly unsupervised generation, the last, I think. And it was wonderful. No kid would do that now because they would be afraid of getting their cell phone wet.

Bone density coupled with zero swimming lessons as nigglets, as well as mild to severe retardation and the panic they produce when faced with something they don’t know, like water, from lack of bathing and basic hygiene while being raised by their sail foam welfare mammy.

I used to live in Memphis and it's deadly to even step into the Mississippi River there. Besides it being filthy enough to give you internal bleeding with one swallow, the current is fast enough to grab you and pull you down before you know what's happening.

This is well known in the area and every time a visitor comes by Memphians repeat how dangerous it is. It is as well known as Elvis in Memphis.

Still, like clockwork, it claims a few niggers a year. They always decide to go swimming and are found a few miles down on a riverbank waterlogged and dead. Sometimes humans have to even go in and retrieve the body.

That's how I learned no amount of money thrown into education will help niggers. You can't spread that message farther than Memphis has about the river. And still, every few months a nigger ends up at the river bottom.

How true

The burheads are too afraid of messing up their hair to swim. You will see them crowded aroumd pools but never in pools. Also their mammys are too cheap to pay for swiming lessons.

Nobody whose life mattered disappeared that day.
