I'm not sure what happened in between, but he popped back up a couple of years ago (2016 ish I'd guess) with a changed image. Rather than the rake who wears female pants with 80s big hair, he was a man-bun, deep-V-neck pseudo-spiritualist trying to get on the YouTube train. His show had some quirky name like "The Trues" (instead of "news", or something like this), and his schtick was mostly to fact-check the daily news and point out media corruption. With time, he drifted toward the Rogan model of hosting guests for interviews, and after he got Jordan Peterson at Peterson's prime, this sent his channel to the moon. He increased his 'conspiracy' talk in a mostly safe way when it came to vaccines. I'm honestly having a hard time understanding the story that the govenrment had to take him out for being too dangerous. As far as I can tell the guy never called out a Jew in his life, despite being a Hollywood starlet for two or three years (and being married to Katy Perry). The chances are better that he "sold his soul" to get to the big time (his first deal with Comedy Central in the states perhaps), and later, as Brand is becoming a thorn in their side, his past is back to haunt him.
Another jew puppet they want to use to create a precedence. Think Alex Jones in court over Sandy Hooke. We know he's a jew puppet that isn't going to ruffle any feathers and they can use him as an example to anyone else pushing Sandy Hooke truth. They will censor other people and will justify it based on how they treat Russell Brand. Russell Brand is not going to fight them on it. He will only pretend.
