On the plus side I met a little kid who despite his mother being a piece of shit stoner drug addict single mother (umbrella term,we all know the type) he was very nice. Pleasant to have around. My mom read to me. I read to my kids when they were little.

My mom and dad were telling me about reading to me and my sister. They said when they would read to my sister she would want to look at all the pictures and whatnot, but when they would read to me I would just lay back and let my imagination run wild with it. Idk that stuck with me for some reason.

Because boomers gave up on raising their kids. Millennials have no concept of parental involvement
