They already drained me of all my money, and they keep sending letters asking for more and more and more. There's always a reason they need to (((correct))) some paperwork or some item. Lately they want me to make estimated payments on my 1099 ... that no longer exists and hasn't existed for most of the year. I literally have to PAY income tax on NO income so the IRS can refund me later and/or keep the money and tell me to go fuck myself.

It looks like im getting another letter today from them, not sure what's in it yet. Based off the way it looks it's gonna be an audit letter, or an underpayment letter of some sort. These fucks are down to nickel and dime whatever they can out of the goy before the entire shit show collapses. Leave it to the IRS to be one of the only industries (maybe outside hospitals) where you have no clue what your tax rate is going in, and the IRS can just change everything on a whim for no reason or any reason years later because fuck you

You need to learn the rules they are applying to you or else they will just jerk you around forever. Either learn the rules or get a tax lawyer. I am no tax expert but even I know how to fix a few of the things you complain about. For instance your 1099 no longer exists? You can file a form for that that will make your estimated payment zero. Either man up and figure out what you doing or pay someone to help you

The entire tax code is a great example of the broken window fallacy: government fucks everything up and forces you to pay to somehow navigate their super convoluted system. It's so convoluted, the IRS is forbidden from even talking to you about it, and they themselves dont even understand it

My uncle did this. He didn't pay for like 15 years. They settled with him unpaid taxes for like $8k... He was making a lot of money too. So, that's like $500 in taxes per year for 15 years

Take it to an accountant. 1st time they sent me a letter saying I needed to pay a shortfall (I was a dead broke sometimes construction worker who was out of work), I went to an accountant and he refiled so that he got his pay and I got an extra $200 on top of that.

That's why our system is so fucked up, it fucks poor people in the ass. Good luck brother.

- Consult an attorney who specializes in Tax cases.

If things turn out to be were the IRS is seeking to 100% ruin you, then... consider measures to protect whatever large assets you still have via trusted family member(s). Just so you can protect as much of your remaining wealth as possible.

Make sure it is all 100% legal, and locked down prior to letting the IRS know your intentions.

Even Trump declared bankruptcy in the 1990's-2000's.

Learn the system, It is not that hard. They have nogs and women working at the highest levels of the IRS. I have been audited a dozen times. The first was the scariest when I was nineteen. I have always come out on top of the audits( so far, I have two pending.) Be a white man read the law and only give them the bare minimum due.
