any advice to someone looking for an affordable place to live and rent? should i move to another country due to the high cost of living and raising inflation here in the usa

There are cheap areas in the US, but they tend to be low income. Affordability is relative. Appalachia has areas where homes are just abandoned, due to mines closing and poor economies. Do a search for a map of average rents versus average income across the US.

That's just rents, but a refined search might turn up a map on housing affordability.

If you move to a country with a different ethnicity, remember you're going to be the foreigner when SHTF.

What do you think of it? Is the tradeoff worth it? Where does your food come from? Is the fentanyl problem in your area as bad as in the videos?

I used to work for an organic bakery so I had a lot of that but I must admit I love the Irish Butter from ALDI

I repurpose food. I get the stuff from the food bank that they are going to throw out. That is how you get vegetables to freeze.

And labor is starved here. $16/hr is easy

The weather is mild if you can handle rain and snow. Nice nature. You can be out of the city in 30 minutes of riding a bike even. Get an SVO/MVO modified diesel generator because sometimes tornados cut out the electricity to farther out places.

I'm in Mexico about 8-10 months a year now.
US properties all making enough bank for me to live here 8 times over.
Silver and Gold purchases have increased 5 fold.
Bought 27 acres and a 4 bedroom house with a 100+ acre well stock,spring fed lake for less than $60k twelve yrs ago.
40min from live seafood cooked by two of the best dick suckers I've ever experienced.

Although I've heard good things about Portugal, I was just there and wouldn't consider that move. House prices rose with the influx of foreigners (Lisbon) although OK prices can still be had in smaller communities (like Evora). Food prices are still excellent.

Gas is much more than USA @1.80 Euros per liter currently (@1.92 US), Switzerland @ $2. Swiss Francs ($2.26 dollars)

I hear really good things about Costa Rica. Cheap food and rent, basically no cops and the ones there will gladly take a $20 bill as a bribe. Hot and cold running pussy if you're into that. Learn basic Spanish and get a passport and you can live like a king if you can come up with $200 a month.

Good luck making money there, unless you cater to tourists.

A good friend of mine just moved back to Florida from Costa Rica, he say's it sucks now. The cops have a new thing where they extort gringo expats monthly and the influx of rude gook tourists have made it unbearable.
