Yes, they still manufacture world class planes and missiles. The Gripen is a very nice jet and they're working on a 6th generation fighter called the Tempest.
Why not just stick out an antenna? It's not like it's more visible than a cannon sticking out of the netting. Heck you should even wire something that puts the antenna well out side of your netting 50 feet away. Heck you could attach it vertically to a tree with the same color. Or even more lazy you can droop it hanging over the outside of the tent with the same color and covered in non-spectral netting so it blends.
I guess this is more of a question. I don't know this stuff. Why not do that?
