Instead of working for these awful tech companies you should be building your own alternatives and using/supporting those of non-hostile nations (Russia is a good start). To avoid laws about hiring meant to pozz any business, make all men involved partial owners. You can create subsidiaries for other departments as you grow - and hire them as third party service providers. So you have your buddy make a customer service/support company and he brings in people as owners to that. Hire outsourced everything you can.

My experience is not too far off from yours. 100 calls. 3 interviews. Only one job with mid level intern pay actually. I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing from a life perspective.
