Had a friend situated in the shopping center in the first ring of suburbs of a metropolis. He received a call from the city police department to evacuate his store as rioters were on their way.

All shops in that strip were evacuated. Just as they managed to get the last of the patrons and staff out, a caravan of vans full of looters pulled into the massive parking lot. The innocent people ran to their cars and escaped fast.

Of all the major shops in that strip mall, it was only the Best Buy that was looted. Made me wonder: Did Best Buy have this all worked out in advance with the Insurance companies and the mob? Everything felt scripted. My friend was able to return to his shop the next day without issue. The neighboring Best Buy was a disaster.
