It was from Poland that the op to destroy the pipeline was launched, which is why Poland made it very clear that it was the US that did it, and not Poland.

Unless more ops are launched from Poland against Russia, Russia has no need to escalate this war. It is destroying the US and the EU, while making NATO look like an overly expensive joke.
