Nicolai Nerling, whom many of you might recognize from the legendary interview with that Jewish goblin, introduced the initiative of the "Volkskraftwochen" (The Weeks of People's Strength) some time ago and I thought many of you could like the idea even though it's just aimed at us, Germans. The weeks start on 9/11 and end on 11/11. And also go from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday each year.
The challenge during these periods is to give up: – Drugs (Alcohol, Nicotin, Cannabis, etc.) – stimulants (Coffee, black tea, Cola, etc.) – Sweets – Masturbation – excessive media consumption – Foreign words — (own choice here) —
and to nurture: – Physique (strength exercises, endurance, stretching, etc.) – Tradition (Folk music, dancing, meals, manual work, card games, etc.) – Human relationships (incl. sex life) – your own language – healthy food (also fasting) – Education (at best from old books) – Handcraft (Garden work, shop work, etc.) — (own choice here) —
The idea is to choose two or three points from each of the two categories and try to achieve that goal with a group of friends.
With all the crazy stuff going on, this might help a couple of you guys to achieve inner peace, at least for a short while. Back in the day, the Nazis had a similar concept called "Strength Through Joy". It's time to start reviving good things.
There doesn't seem to be anything here yet
