Just saying you gotta run it through VLC to make "web quality." I took some 4k videos, and after converting to 1080p and reducing the bitrate 10x I got almost identical videos (it went from about 1.5Mbytes/s to 1.3Mbit/s) . The videos weren't from a spectacular camera in the first place, so most of the "resolution" was wasted. And no one cared; they just wanted to see what I was doing; I'm not Jacques fucking Cousteau.
Before I did the conversion it was taking me forever to upload them using shithole internet.
