If I construct a case the way they constructed a case about Trump: The members of the ADL are engaged in a conspiracy to commit defamation. Their gang is organized for the purpose of disseminating false and defamatory facts about individuals. If it's illegal for one person to do it, then it's illegal for a gang to organize for the purpose of doing it.

The reason the tide has turned against the ADL is because the regime realized it has reached the point of diminishing returns: its radicalizing more people to speak against the government, the NGOs, and others, than the number of people it is causing to self-censor out of fear of being labelled/cancelled.
