Thirty seconds of continuous electricity like that can't be a good thing. About 8 or 9 years ago I met a kid who was injured by a stun gun in police academy. He wasn't able to stand on his left leg for more than 10-15 minutes since that occurrence.

Those tasers are not safe options. They are merely less-lethal. Meaning that they can still kill you, but there's a good chance of merely maiming you.

Any seconds of electricity can fuck you up, sometimes for life. Even a small shock can mess with your shit. It all depends on what it hit and how.

We had an idiot shock herself with a small ~25ga wire while attempting to rewire a connector(she completely fucked it up and I spent several hours repairing it, and everything around it). Of course she didn't tell anyone. She didn't show up to work for the rest of the week.

Turns out that her muscles had seized up overnight and that her girlfriend had to call an ambulance when they found her in the morning. She ended up having to be watched/tested for several days in the hospital while on an IV drip to ensure there was no more damage.

Stupid dyke didn't last long.

Good post, thanks. I’m sub two seconds at 3/4 o’clock. But it isn’t very accessible from a seated position unless you see the threat coming and position yourself accordingly. Might have to try appendix if I can get over the genital obliteration fear.

Interested if they caught these "teens" or not. Each Taser cartridge is packed with chaff with a unique ID number, so when fired the chaff is dispersed over the crime scene. Taser would not only have a record of the weapon, as well as the ID of chaff used, along with the purchasers info. That's assuming the weapon was purchased legally and not stolen, which you can bet your life it probably was.
