It depends on what it's trained on. It's much better with programming, but not without a lot of hand holding by someone who has a lot of ability themselves. The idea that you take take know nothing programmers plus AI and use them toreplace qualified programmers is silly, because the qualified programmer has AI too and you get multiples out of your AI when its operated by someone skilled, so I think if anything you want even more skilled programmers.

If ten unskilled programmers can do the work of one skilled programmer (often not even depending on what's being made), then those ten unskilled programmers with AI will not produce anywhere close to what that skilled programmer will make plus AI.

I worked with these fuckers in IT for years. My ex-company hired an outsourcing firm, pajeets arrive. I have a White guy on my project, super talented, corporate removes him to fight fires elsewhere and I get a jeet replacement. Jeet was supposed to write a VB6 frontend (no lie) for an access control DB app. Whatever, the White guy was overkill for this anyway, as would anyone who had taken an introductory programming course. Jeet had obviously never written a single line of code and it took him two weeks just to figure out how to lay out the controls on the form for input. When he got the first few forms laid out with the buttons he called me over to his desk to show me because he thought I would be proud of him. I'm guessing he outsourced the actual work to some poorer fucker in India. He was still weeks late for every milestone on the project.

If you hire one they really do start to come out of nowhere like cockroaches. After the jeets started coming over it seemed like every apartment building in town smelled like shit. I was trying to help someone find an apartment and started calling around to the management companies and just started asking if they had anything that didn't smell like curry.

Nobody cares because the only thing that has any value is next qtr. Nobody cares if some retard copy/pastes the phonebook into the 757 gitlab repository, as long as IT costs go down vs revenue

India is a caste-based society. As such, for many jobs there it was decided long ago which caste gets to do that job. The caste-less, non-dot Indians (called untouchables) are SOL for getting most jobs, and IT apparently is one of the few paying jobs in a modern society that an untouchable can do. As such, every last one of them tries to get into the field, regardless of aptitude. Most are terrible, or at best a placeholder for someone with skill. I'm actually shocked the number that can code is as high as 1%.
