Idea - A "save draft" option to save a post before posting it.

submitted by we_kill_creativity to IdeasForTalk 8 monthsAug 27, 2023 11:41:40 ago (+2/-1)     (IdeasForTalk)

I'll be honest, I'm working on a super long, quasi-schizo post, and right now the best way for me to "save it" is to copy/paste it to a text document. While I can do that, it would be really nice if this site offered a way for me to save a "draft" of my post.

On a related note, it would also be nice to do what I said above, but also set a time for a post to get posted later.

There's a keyboard shortcut for that, it's called ctrl+c.

In your case you may want to use Notepad++ or Sublime Text.

I understand how to do all that. It doesn't change the fact it would be nice to have a "save draft" feature.

It would be the most useful for shills.

Is that so that you can write posts during the week for Shabbat, then just pay your shabbos goy to hit post?

No, it's so there's a convenient way to write longer form, more substantial text posts which are of higher quality than the average post here.
