Smart phones ruined the world

submitted by Niggly_Puff to whatever 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 11:11:10 ago (+37/-1)     (whatever)

The world was a much better place when normies didn't bother with the internet and it was considered a thing only nerds care about. Now any nigger can walk into metroPCS and get access with about $100. It is the key to people's minds. 4 years after the smart phone hits the market, decimating propaganda onto the American people became legal. Not a cohencidence. I suppose this was the internet's goal from inception. The "omg free access of info and knowledge is so liberating for humanity" in the 90s and early 00s was an illusion, they just needed time to get the tech in people's pockets before they could fully leverage it to fuck with us.

No shit

[ - ] mxcviel 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 16:14:16 ago (+0/-0)

yup, and there were some attempts to make a decent smart phone, which would not leak just everything, but all failed at startup level.

actually, if I think correctly, even a good leak-proof browser, if used by about 1/3 of all phone users, would do the trick.

Jokes on you, now I have access to telling people they're useless faggots from the comfort of my own house lol.

Up to about 2007 pretty much after bittorrent fell off.

Its still there but no one trusts it.

[ - ] GhostCow 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 26, 2023 09:44:46 ago (+0/-0)

Millennials still torrent like crazy. Are you a zoomer? It's the zoomers that are too lazy or retarded to figure out how to torrent. If you don't trust torrents, that means you are too stupid to use them properly.

How do you netterwebz?

[ - ] MuricaPersonified 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 13:00:48 ago (+1/-0)

Been saying this since "smart" phones hit the market. However, I don't think the goal of the internet was propaganda from the get go; it took the MSM and government quite some time to counter/adapt to it. It vexed them greatly in trying to stay relevant, which suggests that they had no clue what to do about it.

It was big tech that ultimately helped secure it for them and more or less lock it down for us. Social media was the trojan horse. The internet pre-2008 was likely the last true frontier we'll see in our lives, and it was pissing off the establishment.

I think the prime example of this is very simply displayed by this question.

How many websites do you visit?

Back in the day before 2007 I'd get online and find a ton of different places to go check out... now? I got to maybe 3 sites and sadly voat is one of them because at least hear I can say what i want. Gab is another and it is growing and doing a lot of good things I really should abandoned voat and go to gab piece of shit losers shills like @honkymcniggerspic would be exposed there here people complain about me complaining about an obvious kike shill on gab I'd have hundreds of people agreeing that he is using the commie jdif playbook... her he has a brigade if faggots backing him up and upvoting him. Old voat no way that happens.

And it's real simple if he is right he would debate me but he never will they can't the commie playbook does not allow open honest debate.

I'm aware of the origin (it actually predated [D]ARPA) but do not believe they had a greater scope in mind other than a having a large network for sharing data. Bureaucracies aren't known for creativity. It was the universities that found more value in the project and the network was generally used for internal and external communication and resource sharing among and between research groups.

When it became more easily accessible to the public in the 90s, its uses were not relegated to anything in particular, and the internet truly was an untamed frontier. It wasn't until toward the end of the millennium with the dotcom bubble where we started seeing the MSM (badly) try to migrate.

I've heard that about Apple and would not be surprised at all if that is true; kikes do love their symbolism.

I think there is an even bigger issue. Women and the smart phones have increased their narricism to levels that is hard to explain. They have ready made social groups that approve of everything they do no matter how degenerate and disgusting it is. I think the amount of single moms on dating sites is a good sign of this as well. I've witnessed this first hand everything that was bad about women and their bad behavior has been enhanced and multiplied by smart phones and social media.

It's bad really bad and I don't see it getting better the really sad part is it is hitting white women worse then any other group they give into social shame worse then any group it seems.

This needs to be studied but I don't see a solution we are heading towards hard times and few men these days have a good woman to back them

But how much would we not know about our overlords with them as well. I guess we could all be in ignorant bliss.

[ - ] Trickthegoyim 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 14:50:47 ago (+2/-1)

I mean they already control the school's and TV before that. Also newspapers and radio. All information has always been in their hands. Just the method of delivery has changed.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 22:00:22 ago (+1/-0)

metroPCS and get access with about $100.

Yall niggaz iz reeeeatch! Hunnid dahliz? sheeeeeeeeeehehehehehehhhiiiit!

[ - ] Merlynn 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 22:56:06 ago (+1/-0)

$100? They'll just steal it.

But smart phones were never the problem. It's letting the electric jew raise your kids. From comic books to radio to TV to the internet, the jews are trying to program your kids with their bullshit. And they get away with it because you're not willing to raise your kids yourself. If you're not telling your kids the truth, who's going to? The jews? Ha!

Point is,smartphones are just the new means,it's the same jewish bullshit it's always been. Teach your kids to get out and get to know people in real life.

I’m 56, and I’ve never owned a cell phone. I saw my first cell phone when I was 17, my girlfriends dad bought one for 12 grand. It was a heavy battery shoulder bag with a brick of a phone connected, and shit coverage. He thought it would give him an edge in the real estate biz.

I saw the future in a dystopian flash. Before the internet, and the pocket computers and the tracking and the spying; I saw the road. Swore I would never have one, and I haven’t. I’ve been very happy with my decision.

I’ve had hundreds of women say, ‘what if there’s an emergency? What if your car breaks down?’ I’ll either fix it in the ditch, use my wit and charm on a passerby, and if that’s not an option I’ll walk home. They look frightened. It’s the only reason they can come up with for why they NEED it. To be saved.

They've been conditioned to think they need something they lived without for years.

Minus current gen gay. They wouldn't know what to do without instant access to internet.

They'd assume their anxiety and depression their jew doctor told them they have was kicking in. Even though it was just boredom.

Since they wouldn't be able to open up a chinajew spy app for a dopamine hit

My father in law is a self employed electrician. He says he wouldn’t be able to compete without a cell phone. Probably true. I ask, how did electricians compete for 100 years before the cell phone came along? They adapted from land lines, to secretaries, to answering services to beepers, and now we’re at cells. In the olden days it was probably telegraph and messengers.

But he said that the cell has given customers so much flexibility to change their plans at the last minute, that you have to stay connected to these idiots, or lose the gig.

My smartphone is old, cheap, and only used for a few select things. GPS/music in the car, podcasts/Pimsluer while I work in the yard/walk the dog, solitaire, DuoLingo and other learning apps, texting and occasionally calling. And I'll use it as a programming test bed for random shit I make.

Sure they track me when I go to the grocery store or walk the dog, but I know when to leave it at home. I think the key is that most people don't have the discipline to not use the damned thing all the time.

The real killer is having all the social media crap on there as we slowly move away from simply calling someone. Most people have become too interconnected and are always talking to someone, sometimes several someones.

It seriously distracts them from the world around them. Ever seen a lady crash her cart in the grocery store while loudly face-timing someone? Funny, but also sad. Even more so when she does it again.

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 22:21:08 ago (+0/-0)

A lot of goats were quick to pounce on that, but "decimate" sorta works as well. Not in the traditional sense of penal culling, but in the splitting of culture.

I have always believed giving the unwashed masses the internet will end up in a history book at some point as one of the greatest mistakes ever allowed. I remember being on BBS's in the 90s and even early usenet in the early 2000s and people in there were smart, had something meaningful to contribute, and the conversations and things created were a golden age of information that is now lost in a sea of trash like facebook and tiktok.

I will go out on a limb here and say that 90% of the people on the internet today have no fucking business being there. Yet people who post here and other like sites are now the minority. It's terrible how this turned out.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 25, 2023 22:09:43 ago (+1/-0)

Just experienced this at the doctors the other day.

Guy asks me so what happened.

I start to explain he cuts me off...

Explain to me what happened.

I am...

Start to explain again from the beginning and the guy starts doing the hurry up hand signal.

So I stop talking.

He looked at me frustrated.

Do you want me to continue?

Rolls his eyes.

Fuckin faggots I swear.

And it's happened all within the past 50 years or so, which a drop in the bucket of the timeline of human evolution.
Imagine how fucked humans and society will be within 50 years - if we even make it that long.
I think humans will eventually merge with computers and become cyborgs due to AI and the singularity which may happen around 2045.
