Fremantle Highway with Four hundred ninety-eight electric vehicles (EVs) and 3,200 other cars continues to burn, and is expected to sink.
Small collisions result in total loss. Great Plan!

No one is going to pay over $130k for a decent EV + Charging Station(s) installation to home, and work.

The cost -vs- insane hassle isn't worth it.

No. EV's will be the cause of the EV revolution.

There isn't enough cobalt and lithium in the world to replace the batteries in the cars in operation, now.

I can drive 400 miles, stop at a gas station, spend 10 minutes filling up, and drive another 400 miles.

Versus driving 200 miles and need 8 hours to recharge so I can drive another 200 miles.

Seems obvious. Just wait till this year's hurricane season and the next big hurricane that backs traffic up for a hundred miles for hours in the 100° heat.

Exactly. Imagine the average family of 4 trying to drive just ~800 miles to visit extended family for Thanksgiving, or Christmas.

What took around 10-11 hours drive time with gasoline, now becomes 10-11 hours driving + 32 hours spent charging with an EV.

Imagine having to flee a hurricane and your battery needs charging, and if it is charged and the atmosphere is saturated with salty sea air there's the risk of the battery exploding.
