Nate is the end result of the liberal Fear Everything school. They never question the lies and never think, how did the humans survive for hundreds of years, with No AC, in the hot summer south, without the made up/fake Fear reports of 'heat index'.

They had slaves wave fans at them until the fan slaves died from exhaustion.

make it 1,000s of years

Meanwhile Middle east and UAE chlling regularly at 45C°+.

[ - ] ruck_feddit 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 16:43:54 ago (+1/-0)

The wetbulb temperature in the middle east at 45C ambient air is not very high. Let's use F so I can do this easier in my head. Let's say 110F instead of 45C, it's close, at 10% humidity in the desert, which is a wetbulb temperature of around 70F.

It has to be more humid by the coast or maybe in cities leading to a higher wetbulb temperature at 110F. High temp and humidity conditions get really gay to cool yourself in places like Korea or the coastal south usa or even southern Illinois.

[ - ] oyy_veyy_goyy 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 10:14:33 ago (+0/-0)

Hell, there have been summers up here in Toronto where it's been approximately that hot with the humidity index taken into account.

[ - ] dulcima 11 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 01:26:49 ago (+11/-0)

34C? I don't have air con and I've survived many a summer with higher temperatures.

Are they serious?

[ - ] CHIRO 17 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 02:35:32 ago (+17/-0)*

Wet-bulb temperature involves a thermometer wrapped in a moist cloth. So it relates air temperature to humidity. The dryer the air is, the faster the water in the cloth evaporates. Evaporating water takes heat with it, which lowers the temperature on the thermometer (below ambient levels) in a process that's the opposite of the condensation that happens on your cold soda cans. The wetter the air, the slower the evaporation, and the less affected the thermometer is.

At 70% humidity, wet-bulb temperature will be about 10 deg below ambient temp. If you drop the humidity to 50%, wet-bulb will be about 16-18 deg lower. So, the first reason Nate is retarded is because wet-bulb temperature is a useless figure without having the humidity value too. If its 100% humidity, wet-bulb = ambient. At 90% humidity, there won't be much difference either.

The purpose of wet-bulb temp is to give you the lowest temperature that can be achieved by evaporative cooling. So, you could think of the damp cloth around the thermometer bulb as being like your skin covered in sweat. If sweating was your body's only means of staying cool, then a 94 degF wet-bulb temperature would tell you that this is the lowest you could possibly get your body temp through sweating, which would only be dangerous if (a) you couldn't sweat properly and/or (b) the wet-bulb temperature was 100 degF or higher. At wet-bulb of 94 degF, you're fine, even if you're miserable.

The second reason NateBear is retarded is that evaporative cooling isn't the only means the human body has for regulating its temp. That would be retarded to think, since homeostasis is so sensitive to temperature shifts; the body has redundancies; it doesn't just rely on your ability to sweat. But hydration is very important.

For fuck's sake, people sit in saunas at 150 degF + (up to, what, 200?) for 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Most of the time, they don't die. In high school, we practiced in 90 deg heat with midwest humidity levels, wearing thirty pounds of pads and a fucking helmet. We would practice for three hours, working our asses off.

Now, it can be quite dangerous not to hydrate when it's 104 degF. You probably don't want to be exerting yourself outdoors (find some shade and lie down). Duh. But this temperature won't kill you unless you lose too much fluid. It might be uncomfortable as fuck, but people have lived without AC for longer than they've lived with it. Stay hydrated. If you are sweating normally, then a 94 degF wet-bulb temp is not life threatening. The tweet is frankly just a flagrant, fear-mongering lie. It's honestly one of the dumbest things I've heard, and it's infuriating for the fact that it is said with such nakedly absent authority.

[ - ] HeavyBrain 6 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 06:27:51 ago (+6/-0)

"You die if you don't drink in hot weather, also you lose fluids"

How retarded do lefties have to be that they believe saying shit like that provides insights to anyone?

Next tips from Nate "dont leave your heater on when you open your windows in winter" ; "Open pizza box before eating pizza"

[ - ] ButtToucha9000 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 14:21:13 ago (+0/-0)

I will eat my pizza how I like, fascist.

[ - ] HeavyBrain 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 14:37:55 ago (+0/-0)

National Socialist. Please.

Also aslong niggers can work in the pizza delivery chain, you never real will it it how you like it.

[ - ] Prairie 3 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 05:29:17 ago (+3/-0)

So, the first reason Nate is retarded is because wet-bulb temperature is a useless figure without having the humidity value too.

Isn't that the point of the wet-bulb temp, in that it takes into account temperature and humidity? It gives a single figure that tells you how comfortable it will be for a person. In researching this I found there's even WBGT, which takes into account wind speed and solar radiation, to arrive at a more accurate single-number measure of effect on humans.

[ - ] CHIRO 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:33:10 ago (+1/-0)

Yeah, most people are going to report the heat index, at least I think that's much more common.

[ - ] Rowdybme 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 08:37:42 ago (+1/-0)

How the fuck you know so much about dem wet bulbs bro.

[ - ] mikenigger 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 16:03:42 ago (+0/-0)

he sucked a lot of them

[ - ] mikenigger -2 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 03:54:41 ago (+0/-2)

people sit in saunas

key word: sit

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 7 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 01:40:27 ago (+7/-0)

These are people who live their entire lives in carefully air controlled environments. The only time they've sweat in their lives is when doing drugs or other nonsense.

[ - ] boekanier [op] 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 03:41:46 ago (+1/-0)

no, they are not serious. I wonder how many normies will believe them

[ - ] Sector7 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 03:55:07 ago (+1/-0)

@NateB_Panic

Totally serious.

[ - ] 15MAR 9 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 01:45:12 ago (+9/-0)

94F
At these temperatures, no amount of shade or hydration can save you. Without AC, you die.

I guess construction workers are all undead.

[ - ] mikenigger 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 03:51:35 ago (+2/-1)

it's 94F at 100% humidity

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 11 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 05:34:25 ago (+11/-0)

Yep. That's called August here in Florida. It'll be hotter in a couple weeks like it usually is, but it'll cool down by mid October. Like it usually does.

[ - ] Thyhorrorcosmic103 6 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 03:46:54 ago (+6/-0)

I welded all day in that heat. I am fine.

[ - ] HeavyBrain 5 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 06:33:13 ago (+5/-0)

Pha what would you know you lowly welder blue collar slob, with your money making and all your debt free life you don't even have the time to sit around and consider what a feminist tap dancing arts degree holder knows about climate...I have you known that my prof gave me a few sources to read about it and even more which to avoid.

[ - ] NukeAmerica 6 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 02:07:19 ago (+6/-0)

94 degrees? lol

[ - ] Nosferatjew 6 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 01:31:01 ago (+6/-0)

Weak fag.

[ - ] Irelandlost 5 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 07:03:03 ago (+5/-0)

Ha wtf, I’m Irish and genuinely do not belong in the sun or high heats. I lived in Spain during the covid lockdown nonsense in Ireland and it was regularly that hot or hotter. My apartment there had no AC and other than sun cream for the first month or so just so my pale skin wouldn’t fry the only precautions I took was wearing sunglasses. I am quite obviously writing this post from beyond the grave. Woooo…

[ - ] Peleg 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:07:25 ago (+0/-0)

You dead, Red.

[ - ] yesiknow 6 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 01:02:16 ago (+6/-0)

Are people supposed to think it's never been 94 in the US South before?

Oh that's right kids pick their own sex chromosomes. Hookers are powerful fuck n dumps if you call them sex workers, excelling at school or work is an insult to non Whites, and everyone and everything personally hates every single liberal voter except the Marxist cult.

[ - ] RabbiKinderschtupper 4 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 06:55:05 ago (+4/-0)

RIP me. I'm a spooky ghost now I guess.

[ - ] eongoat 4 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 04:36:56 ago (+4/-0)

Well I guess I died too since I was working outside most of the day and rested in the shade with a fan and cool water to drink. Oh wait no that didn't happen. Notice on the map the area is in BLACK? like it's death if you live there or something. Too many weather sites have gone "climate change cultists".

[ - ] HeavyBrain 3 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 06:28:48 ago (+3/-0)

Depends maybe you are dead, are you following a kid around that can see dead people?

[ - ] Zyklonbeekeeper 4 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 03:14:34 ago (+4/-0)

OH THE HUMANITY....did the world's stupid meter just shatter? It's sickening to know that the retarded masses out there are really this retarded...is this even real?...if it is then it's over for humanity, sell everything you got and jump on board the 1st space craft destined to a planet where the priority is "to serve man"

This is the beginning of the climate change lockdown strat.

[ - ] Peleg 2 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 11:11:45 ago (+2/-0)

@boekanier was a good goat. His posts were almost always interesting and informative.
He will be greatly missed.
He would still be with us today if you fucks would have just paid more taxes!

[ - ] AngryWhiteKeyboardWarrior 2 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 07:53:28 ago (+2/-0)

And that's being said by one of the people who probably want to force you to stop using your AC to "save the planet".

Mid to high 90's plus 90+% humidity is a normal summer for East Texas. It's too bad all of the pioneers, native americans and other people who lived there for hundreds of years all died during their first summers. Would have been neat to see what a populated modern East Texas looked like. Oh wait, that never happened, people were just fine way before air conditioning existed.

I'm not surprised by any of this. These are the same people who convinced most of the world that a cold was a deadly pandemic that was going to kill more people than the Spanish Flu. First they get you scared of a cold, then they get you scared of summer.

[ - ] fritz_maurentod 2 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 05:45:02 ago (+2/-0)

34°C is a normal summer day in southern Europe and most parts of Latin America...

[ - ] PhantomXLII 2 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 00:54:01 ago (+2/-0)

Eh, shit happens. How's the weather?

[ - ] TwistedC 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 13:43:31 ago (+1/-0)

Lol 94 degrees. I wish I could have some 94° days I haven't had a day that wasn't triple digits and at least a month. The only time it cools off is when the thunderstorms roll in and then your dodging lightning bolts that are exploding all around you. Floridians that work out in the sun are a different breed. At the end of the day after we fried our brain in the heat we just want to go home. To the Yankees and retards that drive in the passing Lane you deserve the death sentence.

[ - ] gimpyoldman 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 11:02:45 ago (+1/-0)

Bullshit. I live 75 miles northeast of Houston, I'm still alive (I think). It has been exceptionally dry with no rain and lower than average humidity for the past 6 weeks.

[ - ] RobertJHarsh 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:25:06 ago (+1/-0)

How did people survive without AC? Shouldn't the human race be extinct?

[ - ] HeyJames 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 08:36:35 ago (+1/-0)

Very confused. I work in this weather every day. You just have to take a cool off water break every once in a while. If this was even remotely true every roofer would be dead. The Mexicans are doing just fine because they don't speak English and can't read this shit

[ - ] Wahaha 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 08:31:59 ago (+1/-0)

Bitching about 34.5°C? I had 39°C in my home all week and I'm fine. I don't even have an AC.

[ - ] totes_magotes 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 07:19:44 ago (+1/-0)

Been living without AC for the last week. Been just fine. Close up the windows, drapes, set up a fan, turn on the house fan (AC/heat fan), open the house at night.

It's been 93-95 in the day and the house didn't go above 80 during the day. It sounds to me like we could do with a lot of people dying from stupidity.

[ - ] jigganiggaboo 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 06:45:01 ago (+1/-0)

Oh gwad global warming climate change. We have 12 years to live goys.

[ - ] Imperivm 1 point 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 06:20:40 ago (+1/-0)*

Do not underestimate this, and I am not saying this because nature has increased degrees, 34°C is nothing, but because more and more they are going to start using laser weapons that can heat parts of the earth at the pleasure of the jewry to advance with their plan of world domination by cutting liberties and leading the white race to the lowest subhuman strata, do not fear nature. They are going to use weapons, get all ready for what is coming, this is nothing compared, they will literally burn humans alive

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 22:01:28 ago (+0/-0)

I've been outside in 120+ in Cali. Although, it wasn't humid.

I remember first time I felt humidity, when I walked outside of a Florida airport in a suit.

[ - ] KosherHiveKicker 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 13:28:08 ago (+0/-0)

Imagine tulip Nate Bear trying to work a man's job such as Highway-Road construction in 95-102'F heat... add to this the heat rolling off the fresh 150'F asphalt being laid down.

This pussified faggot couldn't even handle a day at "Burning Man", let alone a 9-5, Monday-Friday job.

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 10:02:07 ago (+0/-0)

Louisiana and 'Bama?

Hell yeah! Niggers dying left and right! WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!

[ - ] ilikeskittles 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:49:14 ago (+0/-0)

[ - ] RedBarchetta 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:48:47 ago (+0/-0)

[ - ] DonaldJTrump 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:15:01 ago (+0/-0)

I'd like to send flowers a giant wreath that says "nigger faggot." Which funeral home are you going to?

[ - ] KyleIsThisTall 0 points 8 monthsAug 23, 2023 09:06:10 ago (+0/-0)

WTF are they talking about? I live in PA and it has gotten 98degF IN APRIL! Notice how they say wet bulb temperature but don't mention what the humidity is?
