Myocarditis is healable; heart damage isnt. Heart tissue scarring will remain and take away years of your life. "Healing" myocarditis means your heart has stopped scarring and enlarging itself because the threat was over.

What this wants to say is roughly 40% of the cases kept building scars and enlargement after a year, meaning cumulative damage chipping away your years. Personal case; family member had that a decade ago. He was kept in hospital for five days and released. The doctors suspected he had it for a week or so, and probably removed a good year or two from his life.

Myocarditis resolves by getting worse and worse in your heart enlarging to try to make up for it until finally your heart fails and you die. It doesn't heal. You don't grow new heart muscle so your heart just enlarges to try to make up for the damage. 50% of the people will die within 5 years and 70% will die within 10 years. According to the doctors who deal with myocarditis and it's a fairly common thing the end result is absolutely positive and very well known from the large number of statistics for this before the vaccines ever even happened.
