Rode rollercoasters for the first time in 15 years..

Local-ish park with excellent lineup of coasters. Rode a old looper, oldish woody, and new hyper coaster this weekend. Fuck forgot how much I love riding coasters! Glad to know I’m not a bitch at my older age ha. Bought a season pass, don’t even give a fuck it’s late in the year. Got 11 coasters to try yet! I do spend too much time at bars/ drinking.. Bad enough, but worse doesn’t kill enough stress from work. Feel so relaxed and underwhelmed now. All chemical brain hack from big engineering, win-win. Joke I told at the job: “It’s really hard to think about work when your brain acts like you’re about to die!” Ha it’s true, really helped. Anyways, for what it’s worth and for what ya folks care.


Surmise: I have a stressful job in electronics/ electrical for concert entertainment. I’ve found the match in an old passion- physical entertainment on rollercoasters

I haven’t been on one in that long as well. Did the coaster at New York-New York in Vegas.

Coasters are one of the best things ever invented! If you're ever out in LA (I know, I know) hit magic mountain. some of the best anywhere in the world.

I did ride groomer Mountain at pedoland years ago when on family road trip, was great! Small ride with tight turns. Ha company I work for has an LA office, might have to see if I need to visit. For work, not coasterin ha. I see Knott’s Berry Farm (also went there 20 years ago) has badass coasters now.

Hot damn, didn’t know Magic Mountain is in Valencia! That’s actually the shop I’m most likely to go to. They don’t have someone in my role. Oh and an very old inventory of amplifiers. I can’t get parts for mine cause BS, manufacturer for theirs doesn’t even have parts anymore…

I always did too. One I recently rode is “rough,” I thought it was a-ok. Plenty of airtime! I hope to go tomorrow and ride that sumbitch front row 5+ times in a row ha.

So much fuckin fun. Got 2 rides in after work on the hyper. ~200 ft, 70+ mph. Ha looked at the ride photos, I’m just grinning like a motherfucker haha

Yeah, coasters are great. I rode lots of them when I was young. Get in, set down and buckle up and ride. It was nice, and exciting.
Then I rode the superman! Holy smokes! That's the only way to ride a coaster!!
The old, get in and set down types are still fun, but the superman kind is definitely the way to go!

It's been over 20 years for me, but I was a huge enthusiast of coasters growing up. Last time was at Six Flags in Atlanta. Back then there were no niggers in the park that I can recall. Couldn't pay me to go there now.

My top four coasters were Dueling Dragons (defunct thanks to Harry Fucking Potter), Hulk, Kumba, and Montu. Montu was AWESOME when it first opened in the 90s, but they slowed it down after a heart attack or two.

I loved the woodies when I was a kid, rough ride didn’t bother me. Was ok with the one weekend past. Hardly any line on a Saturday afternoon, bet I could ride it nonstop tomorrow evening. The shakin could be too much.. Newer steels are so smooth.

When I was a kid. I went to a state fair. And there was this ride there. Picture a circle. That’s all it was. It would go around and around and at certain points hold you upside down for a while. Well one time it went upside down. As it was holding me upside down the bars that were holding me in jist went loose like all the way open. I remember holding myself in and I probably had a seat belt across my waist. I was terrified. That was the one time I threw up after a ride
