OpenAirShips.com we need better systems

Lol I wouldn't even trust a plane I built myself

[ - ] I_am_baal 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 16:19:27 ago (+1/-0)

Then build them, and sell them to jews

[ - ] Peleg 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 19:18:14 ago (+1/-0)

Sell them to niggers. Tell them that they can cut out the middle man and fly right to central America to get their dope themselves.
jews and niggers crashing @Not_a_redfugee's shity planes all over the Place!

Such a time consuming way to commit suicide.

Ask John Denver how well experimental air craft work.

A significant part of how John Denver died, was his own fault. You can read the FAA findings about the accident.

That's actually kind of steep for information. I guess they print it out?

Nothing compared to how much it's going to cost to build that airplane.

[ - ] JoesLegHair 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 20:08:39 ago (+0/-0)

Less then $100 for all the engineering and testing that went into designing a functional aircraft?

If you think that's steep then aviation is not right for you.

I was just pointing out books aren't usually 100 dollars any more, whatever their contents. I know automotive manuals are expensive. I was just surprised. Yeah clearly I don't know a lot about it.

Don't do it. A friend on mine was killed in an experimental aircraft. He couldn't fly in a certificated aircraft because he lost his medical, so he went experimental and LSA.

He's ded now.

Reading the story it appears your friend was flying recklessly, and on top of that in wind conditions that were unsafe for what he was flying.

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 16:54:21 ago (+0/-0)

I haven't read the story yet, but inherently the smaller aircraft you fly the more you get blown around and thus basically the more dangerous it is. You can try to predict/plan for that. But shit happens.

[ - ] JoesLegHair 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 20:13:08 ago (+1/-0)

The aircraft itself is not often the cause of small plane crashes.

[ - ] SecretHitler 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 17:06:07 ago (+0/-0)

He was doing flips and buzzing the tower

[ - ] FreeinTX 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 21, 2023 21:00:25 ago (+0/-0)

Yeah, I don't know where the news reporter got that. The determination of the cause of the crash was engine failure and could have been caused by an over-rev while doing stunts.

The guy who died with him had the same make and model and was showing him how to fly his newly purchased aircraft.

Sad.

Journalists make shit up all the time. I'll choose to believe your version.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
