Yeah, VERY bad move on the store owner's part to blurt out he thought the gun was fake when he pulled his. I can potentially see that going so many ways against him. Glad it turned out OK for him, but someone with (legal) sense needs to give him a good talking too about how deadly force engagements are "supposed" to work.
