Like 20 years ago there was some ex cop from vegas that had a radio show on some backwoods patriot radio station. I remember him talking about how he still had access to internal data he admitted he wasn’t allowed to.
Well every Friday for a few months one summer he read out in full all the complaints, investigations, charges and convictions of cops. I can’t remember if it was just the vegas cops or the whole county.
He explained in detail the procedures and laws around the difference in publicly reported info vs internal records and I remember one show he got to over 140 charges laid on cops that week. Not including complaints or investigations or convictions. 140 charges laid in just 1 week and there was over 30 cops charged with rape, at least 10 with murder, over 5 of kidnapping and torture and dozens of major drug and child trafficking .. just in 1 week. And there was always more then 1 seriously fucked up case like a cop caught with his wife’s head in the trunk or something like that. .And every time, (at least at the time of that report) there was rarely more then 2-3 arrests or convictions.
Every fucking week he pulled out this list and just kept reading full names ad charges. He had a 2 hr show and I think it took him over 1hr each time just to read through them.
I’ve looked back for that guys shows for years and never found him.
Damn. That would have been something to listen in on. I believe it. Couldn’t get away with that now. I don’t trust any police. I’m not an enemy of them, but I don’t trust them. And, back in the day, I did some county time, a few times for some shit I did. I used to say when I got caught that they just did their job better than I did mine on that day. Now, I don’t see them in that light. I am so strait and narrow now and I trust them less than I ever did and I’ve been dealing with them for 40 years.
