Wasn't that bad and was short, we had a worse one a couple years ago. But that was a freak.

Multiple days with 100+ weather is typical for Oregon between mid July to late August.
Which can be seen even if you go back 90 years In case you wondering why 90 years, it's because I couldn't find any information before then, looks like it has been scrubbed since we've definitely been recording since before the 1930s.

Likewise, Oregon's "record temperature" is bullshit. In 2021, some places were 116-117, others were in the 80s, so they aren't taking the average temperature for the state.

The hottest temps ever recorded were 100 years ago. Last winter had record COLD temps all over the world. 5x as many people die every year from COLD, not heat.
