My avocado tree appears to be stuck in day 21 and its been 4 months.

Make sure the soil drains and saturate the fuck out of it one a week. It's leaves will tell you if it needs more water than weekly. Also add avocado/fruit fertilizer twice a year.

They like moderate sun not full direct desert heat bake.

Check for niggers and spics. Spics are notorious for raping underage avos.

If you started growing a hass avocado seed the tree gets stuck in this small seedling stage and never gets any bigger. Hass avocados seeds are designed: not natural. My Florida avocado tree took about 3 years to start producing it's 6 years old now and it's loaded with giant avocados but you have to let them sit for about a week after picking them before they're ready to eat or they taste like dry soap

Could be the soil. I had two different "potting soils" this past spring and anything in the cheaper dirt stunted or died.

Could be as simple as watering less or adding some sand to the soil.

I did get a sense it was over watered a few times.

I'll try changing the soil when I repot to a bigger home.

Did you buy a seed or try to grow it from a sterile avocado?

[ - ] observation1 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 15:13:06 ago (+0/-0)

It's growing from an avocado seed from grocery store. I assume if sterile it wouldn't have done anything.

7-13 years until it fruits

[ - ] observation1 1 point 8 monthsAug 18, 2023 01:50:10 ago (+1/-0)

Avos are annoying. Wait 10 years then there's only a 25% it ever fruits and even a slimmer chance the fruit tastes good.

I'm pretty sure he was hand watering because you could see his ring shaped watering past day one. He just didn't film himself watering except the day he planted it.

It doesn't need to be expensive. 2×6 planks and some dirt. Keep it simple.

[ - ] Vrbllpollushin 4 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 13:08:28 ago (+4/-0)

Cool video! Alot of people today don't understand the gratification of growing your own food.

[ - ] GreenSaint 2 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 12:42:25 ago (+3/-1)

Yea and I suck at it. I want my peppers to grow but Everytime the little flowers come out they die the next day. I’m basically watering them cause I want them to be happy. I expect no return

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 12:59:44 ago (+1/-0)

Have you tried playing them this time lapse video to show them how its done?

Are they in the ground or in a pot?

[ - ] GreenSaint 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 19:32:26 ago (+0/-0)

They’re in a pot

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 19:58:40 ago (+0/-0)

Are you able to throw it in a yard? If not a larger pot? Mine was all tangled tight in the pot until I transplanted. Took awhile after but he finally produced.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 16:09:09 ago (+0/-0)

I used to have a yard, now I have a bunch of dust and weeds. Still have to mow it and rip out the trees trying to grow in the fence.

[ - ] Vrbllpollushin 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 22:53:16 ago (+0/-0)

Peppers need room.

[ - ] Grospoliner 1 point 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 16:13:43 ago (+1/-0)

SO MANY TOMATOES

[ - ] CHIRO 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 14:35:40 ago (+0/-0)

That was rad. I love growing vegetables. Most of the time, I'm wondering what they're doing when I'm not looking; I just see the growth spurts. Usually, there'll be a morning that I go outside and they've suddenly sprawled out, and I'm left thinking: where the fuck did all that come from, now? With the clock in the corner of the video, it's really impressive to see how much they're actually accomplishing in the span of a few days. That first pepper plant is actually really pretty, too.

[ - ] bobdole9 0 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 13:36:21 ago (+0/-0)

I have. Mostly flowers in the north, looking forward to more options and a longer growing season is Georgia. Michigan is too cold.

[ - ] Vrbllpollushin 1 point 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 22:52:30 ago (+1/-0)

Bro, what? You can grow almost anything in Michigan as long as it isn't a long growing season. We don't garden every year, because there are 100's of farmers stands selling their stuff by the side of the road for dirt cheap. Michigan is only too cold 9 months of the year! Cmon man!

Keeping shit inside through Memorial Day due to frost and snow is not fun in my book.

[ - ] MaryXmas 0 points 8 monthsAug 18, 2023 07:04:09 ago (+0/-0)

When summer comes you guys add 15 minutes of sunshine in a single day. Very cool. But yeah, even south of you, I keep my plants inside till pretty late in the season.

[ - ] bobdole9 1 point 8 monthsAug 18, 2023 08:55:29 ago (+1/-0)

you guys add 15 minutes of sunshine in a single day

May through August is pretty sweet...December through April is gray and cold...but at least its not Minnesota.

[ - ] Deplorablepoetry -1 points 8 monthsAug 17, 2023 15:17:04 ago (+2/-3)

Weed, lots of it.

Three phases to growing weed underground

1 - clones clones clones clones clones clones clones clones

2 - growth phase…, shit grows like a weed except way faster. Growth rate is comparable to bamboo

3 - Bloom, luscious plump flowers that are so dense with THC it will rock your world and any other world you soon will imagine

Legal here now, worth the risk of getting caught if not……, ..thumb ain’t green from pistachio ice cream

Weed just makes you a spiritual nigger.
