I know a personal story from one British town near coast, the usual story - they were really in love, but very young. So, he had to go to war, and their town was heavily bombarded, but the girl with her family survived, and she said she was waiting for years after big war ended, that her love would come home. But he just vanished somewhere in some battlefield with no trace. Finally she married some old man and had one child with him, but never loved him. Or the child tbh, because she spent all her time at some job, I think was some govt news or something, I forgot.

I was curious, never heard about any British town had airplanes dropping bombs to ruin whole streets there, not sure if this part of story was true... maybe someone here knows more about this?

Anyways, quite a heartbreaking story that was.

I don’t feel bad for soldiers that die fighting their White Christian brothers. You ALWAYS have a choice. Pacifists are usually not executed, and even execution is better than dying in war.
