Life is too complicated. I'm sick of remembering a zillion passwords etc. Constant bill paying. And I'm retired with lots of time on my hands. How parents like @Ragnar cope is...beyond me!

The writer should have found a partner in life who would form a co operative family unit. One would look after external issues, and the other, domestic or internal issues.

One could work for money for the family and make sure the stairs were in good repair and safe, and the roof. The other could allocate the resources the work partner provided for best use by family, if they were smart enough to be able to do that. Apparently they no longer are

Yes, a division of labour has its merits but the disadvantage of such an arrangement is that the female doesn't know how to fix stairs and the male doesn't know how to pay bills so that if one of them is unfortunately taken out of the equation, the other is in a mess. yesiknow.

My [expletive deleted] Telcom has a two tier verification system for emails. You should only need to jump the hurdles once but the facility kicks in every now and again and you start all over again.

So... I get asked where the verification email (code) should be sent to unlock email 1. I give an email address (email 2) that hopefully doesn't need the two tier verification system to be activated again but by the time I retrieve the code from email 2 email 1 has "timed out" ffs!

I'm as mad as hell and I ain't gunna take it no more!

As Joe has said he and I hold mutually exclusive political views. I'm for a Police State whereas he's a freedom fighter. But we politely agree to disagree.
