When I was in college it was a long ass drive home. About 5 or so hours. I met a guy up there who became my boy and happened to live close. Everytime I went home hed wanna know so he could ride. We’d get a case of booze. A bit of weeed. He had an addy script which basically meant I did. Leave right after the sun went down. Good times. Of course one time I had a wicked hang over from doing a bit of acid and drinking so I told him to drive while I slept. I woke up this motherfucker was doing about a hundred miles an hour. Lmfao.

Back in my younger daze I friend that when asked how long it would take to drive somewhere, he would pause in thought then say X number of beers, but if you to the backroads it may take X+2 or 3.

It’s fun in Louisiana. Most of the Cajuns on the road are drunk. Most secondary highways are straight and have a 55 limit. It’s easy.

Is not so fun in Montana. The secondary highways have 70 mph limits with little to no shoulder. Very curvy in the mountains. It’s too much work to drive drunk in Montana.
