They have cow scratchers that are literally designed like this for farms and they greatly increase the happiness of the cows which increases their productivity in terms of milk production etc.

They are all over the place, mostly at gas stations. It's a cheaper wash but gets the job done.

I've seen these on west coast as well. The building doesn't move, just the washing bits – scrubber, rinse, etc.

Sometimes it's a significantly better wash. I think hybrid service car washes prefer this kind as well, since the attendant can spend as much time as needed on interior/wiping/etc. without slowing down a conveyor belt of cars behind them.
