Thought about it some from last time I went to the store and saw that bullshit. People were back to school shopping so I think they put them on to show other parents they might run into or they think the mask works somehow in preventing them from getting sick before the kids went back.

I didn't see any kids with masks on though so I think the first option is the best one.

Which means they are still doing it for the virtue signaling.

I think if they try it on a larger scale again there are going to be fights. There's enough anger left from the last one to likely set off people once they see 1 or two others getting messed with.

I looked at one straight in the eyes ..she had to be in her 40's early 50's as she turned she had to have seen the look on my face and she pulled my 5 year olds move you know the one where they close their eyes and walk away? That one. Had my oldest with me and asked her "Wtf was that shit?" She just laughed.
