It's not the movie the title says it is, that would be a film that follows the universe and plot of the original TV show, this is a film that has the series be a TV show within the movie's universe, where the cartoon characters are all actors playing their roles within the cartoon series.

Chip and Dale aren't anything like the characters from the original show, here they are just actors who played those roles, the names and appearance are the same but the personalities are completely different they don't even share the same speaking voice as the characters they played (aside from Zipper and Peter Pan they are the only cases of this). This movie exists to completely destroy your ability to take any enjoyment from the original series.

That's where our pop culture exists now, it's meant to destroy the mythology of our youth, that is the rule of our cultural landscape: Everything you love will turn to shit, if you create something people love, they will infiltrate it or take it over and then proceed to ruin it, the more you love it the worse they will defile it, and so you shouldn't love anything at all.

Let's be honest, nobody is that upset that Gadget ended up having 42 hybrid babies with Zipper, I've been online enough to know that modern audiences can handle something like mouse/fly relations, what they are upset with is that they gave zipper the voice of a black man, and they did that to elicit the exact kind of response they've received - "infamous furry waifu got herself blacked lolXD".

They went out of their way to kill your ability to enjoy not just the series they named their movie after, but also every other movie or tv show that featuring animated characters which anyone ever liked when they were younger, just utter defilement, and this fits into a larger cultural agenda.

Fandoms had replaced religion as a threat to the establishment, and for the same reasons - it causes people to gather and unite in appreciation of a shared mythology from which they take their moral principles, in past decades media was being used by them to manipulate us into accepting their messages and discard those of religion, but now the time has come to phase that out and move onto the next step in our pre-planned cultural evolution.

They gave us the religions to make us give up our kings, they gave us philosophy to kill our religions, they gave us media to kill our philosophy, and now they are taking media away from us too. Science was taken away from us at some point and replaced with something more like religion: With scientists being like priests of early Christianity who had access to hidden knowledge which they related to us, factual claims being intertwined with political and moral opinions, and a strong emphasis on believing something to be true despite having no evidence to support this belief beyond that your authorities have proclaimed it to be truth.
