Being tattoo-free is quickly becoming, or perhaps already is, the new "counter-culture." I see more people with tattoos than without these days. I'll see someone that looks pure-skin and then they'll reveal a blemish under their sleeve, or their ankle, etc.
Hell, we could probably turn being tattoo-free into a subtle hate symbol by itself:
"White Supremacists are so racist that they let nothing blemish their White skins, they hate people of color to the point that they forsake tattoos!"
