What's upgoat you might ask?

Not much whats up with you? 😏

So long tlol, hello upgoat.net!

The site has a new name, but all is the same minus a slight difference. It's split into default, subscribed, all and followed. You can switch through these at the top. When you are in one of these modes it will stay there until you change it or log in again.

The default subs will be taken more seriously as far as moderation goes. Only posts which follow the subs rules and are on topic should be submitted to a default sub. The idea is to have a clean space for serious discussion.

/all can no longer be posted to. If a subverse if left blank when a post is made it now goes to /whatever

/whatever is a default sub. So no spam or crap should be posted there. It's a general sub to post things. I will need some mods to moderate the place.

I need mods for all the default subs. If you'd like to pick up janitorial duties send me a PM with the sub name. I'd like for different users to mod and control all the default subs and be autonomous. Also If you think a sub qualifies as default let me know.

This will hopefully create balance between the more wild west side of the site.

Don't get me wrong I like shitposts and bananas, but there is a lot of intelligence here and it deserves to be held a bit higher.

Please report any bugs. I will further improve the site in due time. Just had to get this part out of the way.
