They are not "windmills", but rather "wind turbines".

Well, a windmill will actually perform mechanical action while it is turning.

Turbines DRAW POWER FROM THE GRID IN ORDER TO TURN!

Should they accidentally generate power on their own, the power generated is so dirty it is completely useless.
