It's also cop bullshit. They take a short Saturday course in something, are now an "expert", and it opens more windows of probable cause or at least being able to say something to a judge when they otherwise wouldn't accept your bullshit.

Cops aren't experts at anything. They are retards with a high school degree. But shows like NCIS make it look like cops are cool experts with cutting edge training. And then another kind of retard, a filmography dead brain, thinks after watching a cop show humm, this is popular, I can do that bullshitting too and make some material for b-grade tv or youtube. It's not he has a lot of other opportunities, so he will put time into something that moronic.

If you want someone who can actually dissect behavior in any sort of expert way you want someone with a phd or at least masters in psychology. And even then you still might end up with some hokum. Everything else is guaranteed bullshit.
