Not the 1st time I've seen this.

Had a guy come up to me when I was in SF 20 something years ago asking if he could get a ride.

I'd just got to the bay area and had no idea where Berkeley Medical center was.

He kept showing me a piece of paper on a pizza box. "That's my discharge paper from the hospital. They didn't even treat me. They bought me this pizza and dumped me here in tenderloin district.

I had no idea I was in the "tenderloin" district and said I can't really help you. I'm sure we can both appreciate eachothers situation. If you know a local police department I can walk with you there and explain your situation.

He just turned around did a hand wave and walked off.
